When we started onboarding students and non-Web3, non-gaming communities, it honestly felt like a shot in the dark.
At that time, @joinmetaversity had only served the gaming-centric members of @YGGPilipinas. We were just beginning to build programs and pathways to reach a wider audience. But we were stubborn, hopeful, and driven.
This community in particular, @virtualahan, is special. We didn’t just reach beyond our usual demographic. We partnered with a differently-abled community of aspiring freelancers 🥹 proof that talent exists everywhere, if you make space for it.
Real impact takes time. This one was a year in the making, and the job’s not done yet 💙
