Here's how I just earned ~20% cashback on a down payment for a new car ☺️🚗
Our leased car is due to return this month so we need to buy/lease/commit to a new/used car for the family.
My @ether_fi Cash Card is the first crypto credit/debit card I've ever fully adopted for spending IRL. Not just something I've tinkered with. I am spending money regularly on household expenses from groceries and gas to restaurants and more.
When I used my Cash Visa card, I earn 4% cashback on all purchases using direct spend or borrow mode with my onchain vault holding a mix of yield-earning stablecoins + weETH collateral--all onchain. So I'm spending fiat IRL with yield-bearing assets onchain, held in my self-custody vault.
Another reason I love my Cash card is they keep hitting us with bonus rewards and opportunities as early users, like this month 20% cashback on purchases (based on specific spending limits per your membership tier).
Realizing this, I thought to save on larger transaction putting a down payment for our new car (see screenshot below from the @ether_fi app).
Pretty cool!
Try the Cash card yourself:

Note: I was a seed investor in @ether_fi and am now a staker of $ETHFI today.
