Aave actually went to play on @Aptos!
Honestly, this means that the multi-VM era of DeFi has really arrived, and I'm so excited.
In the past, although the Aptos ecosystem was fast, everyone felt like something was missing—a heavyweight DeFi protocol to support it. Now with Aave + Chainlink, this combination has directly brought the "standard configuration" of DeFi into the ecosystem, instantly boosting its credibility.
Aave isn't foolish either; it's no longer just focusing on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon, those EVM chains. It's starting to play with multiple VMs. This means that DeFi is no longer tied to a single technology and is beginning to seek new market opportunities.
Chainlink acts like a bridge, bringing over the security experience from EVM to support lending and liquidation on Aptos. This means Aptos is no longer an information island but is slowly connecting to the global DeFi network.
I think this is quite interesting; Aave's landing on Aptos is not just about integration but is telling everyone— the multi-VM era of DeFi has truly arrived.
